Dr. Sharad Kumar Verma
Apart from Ph.D. in Education, Dr. Verma also holds an M.Ed. and an M.A. in English Literature from CCS University, Meerut. His areas of specialization include Educational Philosophy and Teaching of English. Throughout his distinguished career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, communication, and administrative skills, along with a result-oriented and student-centric approach to teaching and learning.Dr. Verma has served in several prestigious educational institutions and administrative positions, including Principal in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Directorate of Education (Government of NCT Delhi), and various public schools. As (DEO) in the Directorate of Education, Delhi, he handled administrative and service matters, supervised educational inspections, and led institutional evaluation teams. He has also served as Manager of Abhinav Global School, Dwarka, Director Principal of Deen Bandhu Public School, Ghevra, Delhi, and Director of SBMPS, Baba Mastnath University Campus, where his visionary leadership increased student enrollment from 70 to 700 within three years.Currently, Dr. Verma is serving as Professor in the Department of Education at Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak, where he has been actively engaged in research, and academic mentoring for the past seven years. He has taught English and Education courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has also worked with the B.Ed. Programme of CCS University, Meerut, contributing significantly to teacher education.An active researcher and scholar, Dr. Verma has published more than 22 research papers in peer-reviewed and UGC Care-listed journals and reputed magazines. He is the author of the book “Radhakrishnan Ka Shiksha Darshan” and is currently working on another book titled “Education and Morality.” As a recognized research supervisor, 11 Ph.D. scholars have been awarded Ph.D degrees successfully and respectively. He has also supervised and co-supervised numerous postgraduate dissertations.Dr. Verma has actively participated in more than 25 national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and professional development programmes. During his tenure as DEO, he attended several specialized training programmes organized by the Directorate of Training, Union Territories Civil Services, Government of NCT Delhi. His commitment to academic excellence is further reflected in the more than 50 motivational lectures and invited talks he has delivered for students, teachers, and academic professionals. He has also served as a judge for painting and essay competitions organized by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Besides This, he has been awarded more than 60 appreciation letters and awards by Goverment and Non Goverment organisation. Also he has received Life Time Achievement Award - 2024 from COER University Roorkee, UK. In addition to his academic and administrative achievements, Dr. Verma has contributed to educational publishing as the Editor of “Shiksha Sandesh,” the Alumni Journal of the Department of Education, J.V. Jain P.G. College, Saharanpur. His lifelong dedication to education, research, institutional development, and student empowerment has established him as a respected leader and mentor in the field of education.
